Natasha Makrymichalos is the designer behind TAGARI BAG. Born and raised in Athens in an artistic family, Natasha studied fashion design and worked in the Greek fashion industry for years. Currently she lives in Florida with her husband and their son.
In 2013 she launched her first collection of modern and colorful handmade woven bags as a revamp of the traditional Greek woven bag that we see in folk museums around the country.
After the great impact the collection had, she decided to enrich the following collections with several styles and sizes of bags, all of them having the main part woven in looms by weavers living in various remote areas across Greece.
Every bag is handmade by exceptionally skilled craftsmen making each one unique. The woven part that is made of cotton and acrylic threads is combined with leather, suede or canvas, depending on the season and concept. Featuring contemporary designs and optimal fabric quality, Tagari bags are timeless, trendy and stylish.
